Canoë Kayak

This river runs from the Massif Central to the Atlantic Ocean for 450km; it is renowned as the cleanest river in Europe.
The most interesting journey to go canoeing is located from Argentat (19) to Limeuil (24).
The banks of the river are very picturesque from Argentat to Souillac and you’ll find the most famous sites between Carsac and Beynac (about 20km): Montfort castle, the Roque Gageac, Castelnaud Fayrac and Beynac.

River: 490km; it originates in Puy de Sancy and flows into the Garonne River. Its valley is full of prehistoric sites.

- Difference in level: 250m between Argentat and Beynac.

Drôme
The Drôme valley offers you incredible sites in a southern climate. The Drôme River is the ideal place to enjoy water activities (swim, canoe, kayak, raft…) thanks to numerous access possibilities and the quality of its water.
The Drôme River profits from a national experimental plan (SAGE) of rehabilitation that started 10 years ago: high quality bathing waters.
This river is very interesting thanks to its numerous rapids.
Family sailing is allowed with children from 6 years of age.
The flora is very diversified thanks to specific vegetation named Ramière. You’ll also discover an interesting fauna (beavers, herons, egrets).

- River: 110km; it originates in the Pre-Alpes and flows through Die, Crest and into the Rhône River.
- It is the most important river of the department.
- 57km of navigable river.
- Difference in level: 383m from the bottom of Claps to Crest.
- Category II without dam or dangerous obstacle.
- Favourable period: in the spring for rafting, all year round for canoe-kayak.

Gard
The Gard or Gardon is a river located in the south-east of France. It is an affluent of the Rhône River and it originates in the high Cévennes.
Its length: 133km.
The Gardon is actually made of 2 main rivers: the Gardon d’Alès and the Gardon d’Anduze; their confluence is located on the city of Ners.
70km of navigable river with a canoe-kayak (category 2). The river is over crossed by the Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct built in the 1st century.

The river Hérault originates in the Cévennes Mountains, at the foot of the Aigoual and flows into the Méditerranée Sea.
